Does Anyone Know How To Better Clean A Pool?

I have a pool that we let friends of our borrow and I ended up getting it back this past weekend. Well I don’t know if they ever cleaned it, but before I set it up in my yard, I cleaned it the best I could and now there are the tiniest little dirt specs all over in it. I’ve tried shocking it, using a net and even a pool vacuum, but the specks are way too small. Even the filter isn’t picking them up. Help please!

We love in South Carolina. The soil is red clay. While everything was being installed, red clay stained some of the tiles. I haven’t tried to clean it with anything yet because I am worried about getting it into the pool. Any suggestions?

I changed the wheels/belts just a two days ago. When I put it in the water to test it out, everything worked fine (including the back end staying on the ground and turning around/climbing walls properly~ as these were issues before as well) but when I came out to check it the morning after, it was floating on top of the water with the tail spraying water straight up in the air! I’ve already changed the reverse valve and hoses too.
I’ve checked all of the troubleshooting manuals, searched for related topics and have just about driven myself insane trying to find the correct answer to this problem. Everything the troubleshooting manuals tell you to do… I’ve done, and then some. Could it be a problem with the main filtration system that is causing this? Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

We just bought a house with an inground pool. The water in our pool seems fine (nice an clear, no odors) but the wall of the pool looks discolored and there is “crude” which looks like mold/mildew around the joints etc. How do we clean the surface safely?

I,m in a bit of a dilema at the moment and need help fast!
My indoor heated swimming pool needs serviced sooner rather than later. You see my pool man has dropped me in it by being off work sick at the moment & will not return to work until mid-January. He usually comes in everyday including weekends to look after my pool.
I think the filters need replaced or something, but I don’t do menial tasks about my home and there is no other member of staff who can carry this task out adequately!
I really need this work carried out before new years eve as I’m having a party that night and the pool must be in use.
Is there anybody out there that can be of any assistance?

I have a vinyl above ground pool that has a nasty ring right above the waterline. (I believe its commonly referred to as a “scum line”) Last year, I tried all kinds of vinyl cleaning products to try to get rid of it (including “Jack’s Magic”) to no avail.
I was going to try two different products this year. One is call vinyleraser and the other is Omni Pool Surface Cleaner.
Does anyone know if there is anyway to get rid of the dreaded scum line?

I have a 13000 gallon pool with 2 inch pvc. I run the pool for 8 hours a day. This normally would be easy but I have a 7 panel solar heating system. With this installed I am not getting enough suction in my skimmer to run my automatic pool cleaner. I thought more horse power but after reading that may not be the answer.
